What have you learned from the process of research and creation in your thesis journey?

Research and creation of a thesis project can be a challenging and rewarding experience. During the research phase, I learn about the topic you are investigating and gain an understanding of existing knowledge and research gaps. This process helps me identify the research questions I want to address and formulate a research plan to answer them.

During the creation phase, I applied the knowledge I gained from research to develop a product and service that addresses a specific need or problem. This process allowed me to further strengthen my creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

How has your visual system developed? What works and what needs improvement?

The visual identity guidelines I created builds upon the visual system I developed last semester. During the process of reviewing and organizing the logo, color palette, picture style, visual elements, and icon system, I realized that there is still room for improvement, particularly with regards to standardizing the use of icons on both light and dark backgrounds.

What about your product? Are there things you would change? Why? Why not?

I am making significant progress with all of the deliverables. As we were working on designing motion graphics ads this semester, I had the idea of creating a set of posters for offline marketing as well. Combining both digital and traditional media can effectively promote our brand to a wider audience.
