Reflection
Debrief us on what happened in user testing, including how it might affect your project, and what you plan to do about it. Examine your materials matrix, timeline, and strategies, and then tell us how you plan to adjust your strategies, designs, or deliverables.
I have been engaged in user testing for several weeks and received valuable feedback. Based on the participants' feedback, I have identified several crucial issues that users care about, and that can determine whether the product is accepted and loved by users.
Regarding apps and web pages, my testers offered feedback and suggestions on font size, typography, visual effects, and the logic of actions. I have incorporated their feedback and made necessary minor adjustments accordingly.
In terms of publications, the overall feedback from testers has been positive, with satisfaction expressed towards the content and visuals' arrangement. However, the testers have also provided some constructive feedback on typography. For instance, one tester suggested including a message at the end of the magazine article, encouraging readers to download the app for additional information. Based on this feedback, I have made improvements to the magazine this week.
What have you learned from your user testing experience? What went wrong? Is there anything you would do differently next time?
User testing helps me to adopt a user-centered design approach, as it enables me to see the product from the audience's perspective. Although I aim to consider every detail from the user's viewpoint, it can be challenging to identify all the blind spots, especially when we are too close to the project. Therefore, user testing plays a crucial role in revealing these blind spots. In the future, I hope I can expand my pool of testers to obtain a more diverse range of feedback.

This week, I revamped the user testing report to maintain visual consistency with the process book. Additionally, I incorporated the feedback received to make modifications to Deliverable 2, the magazine.
